Then Now
Recent styles are looser and more bohemian in my opinion. I like these worn with a high waisted maxi skirt and loose wavy hair.
Combat boots:
Then Now
Combat boots available now are much more feminine and have added studs, zippers and buckles! They also have thinner soles which lends a whimsical air to your wardrobe and they resemble styles from the 1930's instead of the clunky doc martens that were so popular in the 90's. I personally love this trend and am on the lookout for the perfect pair! I like these paired with loose flowy tops or lacy dresses layered up with necklaces and leggings!
Another trend that was big in the 90's are floral prints. This trend, along with the combat boots are my favorite at the moment because they are successfully translated into 2013 without looking dated.
Like this dress I recently stole from my sisters closet!
Paired with a fedora and sandals this breezy jersey (extremely comfortable) dress reads less like "Blossom 1994"and more like "Harmony 2013"
Now that we've talked about trends we love seeing revived lets address some that need to stay in the 90's.

and anything the spice girls wore-don't get me wrong-I loved them as much as anyone did but fashion wise
...I mean...really.
What trends are you hoping never resurface? Any that already have and you hate it?! Let me know!
