What I Wore Wednesday!

Sometimes those hard days are made just a teensy bit easier by the fact that "at least I'm dressed" you know what I mean??












Wednesday was our last day to host the Acquire the Fire students so I spent the day hanging out and getting to know the girls a little better and ended up doing a little mending for them. Then our small group fed them dinner and sent them on their way-I still kind of miss them...
Friday was crazy...that morning I attended a surprise bridal shower, in the afternoon I picked up my sister's kids for her and then we had a girls night that evening and watched Battlestar Galactica, which is awesome in case you don't know. 

 Sunday after church  we went to the go-kart grand prix and watched the races-those things go crazy fast! It was a free fun family event and we really would like to try to go again next year!

Monday was fun. For some reason Michael and I woke up and decided not to do anything responsible. It was awesome.  My mom and I also made our first batch of lotion bars!

 They actually turned out really well! We're still tweaking the recipe though...

 

Today I cleaned the house since we were so lazy yesterday. I know I'm wearing those shoes a lot but I love them!! Way to go Walmart right?!
Fun fact: I actually bought that shirt and those pants at the same time to wear together but this is the first time I've done so...
