I've really been working on our bedroom lately and this is one of my latest projects. I love them!! perfect for a master bedroom and in my favorite color combo:)
I used a high quality gray felt to re-cover the pillow and yellow flannel for the letters.
I fused medium weight interfacing to give them some structure and then machine sewed them on! It took me 3 days- well- because I have a 3 year old to play with and a house to clean! Oh for the days of uninterrupted crafting! My entire wedding scrapbook? Done months after the wedding. Gwens? Not even started 3 YEARS LATER!!

Two new restyles!
We painted my vanity and re-upholstered a chair to use in our new bedroom!
I'm very excited to move all of my makeup in here-I used scrapbooking paper and spray adhesive to stick it down and then modge podged over it...it was smooth when I finished but the humidity outside made it wrinkle when I left it to dry:( oh well its going to be covered up by makeup anyway...
plus i've been waiting to decorate the walls until this piece was in its new home! I really love it white-especially with the contrast of the blue-so pretty!

old obsession renewed!
Remember when I told you about Benetint? how I loved the product but not the packaging?
Well the last time I was at the mall
(which is rare in itself-I usually avoid the time vortex they call the mall in favor of smaller more affordable stores cough*cough* Target)
I stopped at Sephora
(also rare-100 bucks for a lip gloss?! no thanks)
and found this:
the pocket pal! much smaller than the full size-but I can actually put this in my purse without fear of staining its entire contents red...even if it is an oh so pretty red! Yay Benefit!

shame on me!
We're almost finished with Gwen's room and I haven't even mentioned it!!
Maybe because it makes it go faster if I don't think about it...at any rate all we have left is the trim! I'm in love with the wall color-its so cheerful!! Its called 'Grand Hotel Mackinac Blue.' quite a mouthful for a little girls room...
While I'm waiting for her room to be ready I've been repainting furniture ( a pink nightstand per her request) and re purposing a TV amoire into a clothing amoire. We also still need to buy a twin mattress for her new bed...
I can't wait for it to be done! This is the hardest part-when its allllmost done and you can really start to see what it will look like...
