Rare London dress (see more bandeau dresses)
This first look is our casual, lets spend all day hanging out and then catch a movie later, look. You could also make it instantly dressier just by removing the jean vest! (which I would wear open by the way) I love the relaxed vibe of this look and this is a good way to get more use out of your formal pieces!
Number two is a perfect blend of hard and soft. You have the strong, structured shoulders of the blazer mixed with the soft floaty chiffon of the dress, and the studded booties to offset the loose wavy hairstyle. I also love the way the clutch mirrors the hemline of the dress while pulling in the black and silver touches. I usually have a hard time putting black and silver together as I prefer black and gold but I think it works here. This look definitely makes a statement and while it's a great look for going out with your sweetheart, it would also be a great girls-night outfit just in case you're spending Valentines day in a non-traditional way;)
In #3 I let the dress do all the work. I love the look of tan ( or camel or nude or whatever) paired with red and the touch of black in the clutch, with this great antiqued necklace, really are the finishing touches for this look. This is pretty formal and if you dress to the nines for valentines this is the way to go!
How will you be spending Valentines?? Which of the 3 is most appropriate for your plans??
#1 is what I'll be most likely to wear but I wish it was #3!!

ReplyDeleteLove them all! But I would add a thin scarf to dress number three...never know when it might get cold in feb. ^_^ But most likely I'll be wearing an apron and lots of flour-since my Shi and I are making dinner for Daddo that night. ^_^
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits! Loving the different looks!
