*House Tour* The Guest Bathroom

This is our most recent room completion and I LOVE how it turned out.
Its such a relaxing space! But first, a before picture:

*shudder*
and
during:

*double shudder*
and

After!

I like to have fun with my decor by adding  unexpected quirky little things.
Which is why these 2 photographs made the gallery wall in the living room,

this owl on the kitchen shelf is a rather dapper chap,
and why in lieu of a regular mirror I went with this:
I originally saw a version of this on pinterest but thought I could class it up a little with a canvas and a flowy font.   It's pretty fun to hear people giggling in the bathroom the first time they see it.
don't worry though if you need to check your teeth-there IS a mirror in there
See:
Its just not the focal point-cause you look fine.

We chose to use this tiered basket for bathroom storage because what you don't see, is the unfinished laundry area where someday the towels will live.
But this works for now and I love the texture it adds so maybe it will become a permanent fixture.

Thanks for checking out our newest space!

  2. The bathtub? To die for. Love! The paint color, mirror...perfection. I think I could take up residence in your guest bath and do just fine. I am also a fan of quirky photos and art mixed into a photo wall...your house must be a magical place, indeed.

    1. Thanks! The great thing about it is, if we ever decide we need a "real" mirror I can always use the canvas as art anywhere in the house!
