Weekend Update/Photodump

It's been a while since I've updated you in this fashion so I thought it was time for a little Instagram/iPhone action! I find my iPhone to be invaluable when it comes to snapping a quick picture throughout the day. We've had an eventful weekend so there are a lot of pictures  and something tells me its going to be a busy week...

First Michael and I had an amazing and much needed date on Thursday. I was having so much fun I forgot to take pictures but we did buy these chips

and I did take a picture of them!
They were not a big hit. Has anyone tried the other flavors?

I also got to go into Lush for the first time and what we bought there was a much better purchase than the chips...

I'm in love. I can't afford to use their products as frequently as I'd like so I've been researching how to make my own lotion bars and bath bombs! I'll let you know how it goes :)
On Friday we spent sometime with the girls great-greandfather who is visiting from Florida

We also got a little arts and crafts time in-Ivy painted for the first time :)

Saturday was pretty mellow. I got some reading done

and some mending

We took a walk

and tried out our new french press!

Mostly we just hung out at home which was good because Sunday was so busy there are no pictures!
How was your weekend??
Thanks for reading!!

  2. My roommate just bought the cheese-y garlic bread chips and she loves them, I don't know how I feel about them yet. I love Lush too, cute post :)

  3. I saw those chips at the store today but wasn't sure. Now I must try them. I was thinking my husband may love the sriracha flavor as well. I'm a huge Lush fan, but agree about the prices. My skin loves their Ocean Potion, but at about $40 for 8oz, I have to indulge sparingly. I've scoured the internet for a recipe (I know it has sea salt, obviously, and vodka), so if you find some DIY versions...please share! :)
