Wishlist Wednesday!
Every Wednesday I hope to post a list of 10 things that are on my wishlist-in other words things I want crazy bad:) enjoy!
1. this couch from CB2.
if you've never been to this website check it out now! I LOVE their furniture especially-actually I'll go ahead and take this one too:)
2. this dress that Becky from Strumpets Crumpets featured on her blog *swoon* everyone needs to own a dress like this! its from this etsy shop

4. don't you just love Fiestaware!? i have been longing for a little green teapot....
of course this is the hardest to find and most expensive of all the colors :p
I suppose I could settle for turquoise...
or orange...really i just want a teapot!

6. a sleeve of poppies-this is the picture i would take the tattoo artist:

nail polish? why not!
I picked up these beauties yesterday and can't wait to wear them! 
They are 'minted' and 'make mine mango' by revlon, and 'snow me white' (seriously? worst name ever...) by sinfulcolors I've been looking for just these perfect colors ever since I found this picture

thrifty goodies!
On Saturday while my dad worked his magic on the floors my mom and I went to our new favorite thrift store where I found some super cute little knick knacks
I also found some pillows that I adore!
there are 3 of them and the opposite side is the same design inverted-they are just perfect!
I also went to a swap on Friday-Guys this is the best idea EVER you just bring the things you no longer want or need and everyone else does the same and then you just take whatever you want! for FREE!
I picked up this cute little guy at the swap:
who looks amazing with my fall decorations
but I have a feeling he's not going to be packed up:)
and this tricycle:
and at both the swap and the thrift store I found a few new dandy things for me to wear! Speaking of clothes, as I am a bit of a clotheshorse I think I'm going to start doing some "outfit of the day" or week or whatever posts...maybe it will be a weekly thing: "Fancy Fridays" or something- what do you think?!

i cannot believe the amazing-ness of what i am about to show you-be prepared to be boggled:
THAT is my floor!!! The Hubster, in a fit of awesomeness rented a sander and sanded those floors for 6 hours straight (until 4 am bless him) (did anyone else say what it is those parentheses in an Irish lilt? no? OK)
I only have awful iphone pictures of the sanding process so i wont subject you to that blurriness but rest assured it was quite a job-when i checked on him around 2 am he had the look of a crazed maniac (which, honestly? he must be -who sands floors all night long?)
as if that wasn't amazing enough he installed the new ceiling fan
WHICH HAS A REMOTE CONTROL!!!! yes thats right. I'm lazy. and i love it. don't' judge.
AND if that amazing-ness isn't impressing you my Daddy dearest came over Saturday just to stain them - then again on Sunday just to polyurethane them!(which is why they look so beautiful) I have to say I am so very blessed to have such great men in my life! I just love them! (the men...and the floors...but in totally different ways) I cant go in there yet because the varnish is still wet ( and stinky) but I pause throughout the day just to gaze on their beauty and daydream about baseboards and doorjambs...
